This July in The Bullish Society, we’ll be welcoming personal stylist and fashion blogger Susan Padron as our Expert-in-Residence. We’re so excited to learn more about styling choices for professional bullicorns of all shapes, sizes, career paths, and walks of life. Her clients include women and men with a wide range of budgets and body types. The goal for everyone she works with is to help them look and feel amazing.
Susan has been a personal stylist for her friends and family for as long as she can remember. Everyone she worked with encouraged her to pursue it, and in March of 2016, she finally listened to them, and started building her business. Since her official launch, she has been published, styled photo shoots, held group style events, collaborated with fellow entrepreneurs, and worked with men and women all over the east coast. In addition to her love of fashion, Susan is a musician, traveler, movie and book lover, cute fluffy animal cuddler, and has similar food cravings to that of a unchaperoned five year old at a birthday party.
We caught up with Susan for a quick Q&A on what to expect this month during her residency.
Hi Susan, welcome to The Bullish Society! Can you tell us a little more about yourself?
I am a fashion loving, #girlboss, wife, and mom, who gets tattoos that make me look cooler than I actually am. I love that I am finally pursuing my own business full time as a personal stylist, and I honestly can’t wait to see what other opportunities cross my path!
We understand you’ll be presenting a challenge for us this month! Give us a sneak peak – what will we be challenged to do?
Being a personal stylist, my challenge for this month will of course be fashion oriented! The challenge will involve incorporating at least one thing that shows off your personality into your outfit every day, take a picture of it, post it, and hashtag it!
Also… you know we get a little contrary over here at Bullish. What’s the worst styling advice you’ve ever heard?
The worst styling advice I have ever heard is “you’re too old to wear _________”. Style isn’t limited to age. Style is about having natural confidence in what you are wearing, because you feel that it genuinely represents who you are.
